Bump Baby and Me is run by Kathy Milliken - A proud Mum of two little girls, a Pre/Postnatal Yoga Teacher, Baby Massage Teacher & Birth and Postnatal Doula. Kathy has also trained as a GentleBirth Instructor, is currently training as a Breastfeeding Counsellor with Cuidiú and spends her spare time blogging about all things relating to Pregnancy, Birth and  & Parenting.

Classes run in Malahide Pastrol Parish Centre, Malahide Village

MumFit Classes. Train, alongside your baby, in the specially designed postnatal class at Performance Therapy Ireland. Eight sessions, run over four weeks on Mondays / Wednesdays 11.30am- 12.15pm.

Pregnancy Yoga

I am qualified as a Trust in Birth Prenatal yoga teacher through The Elbow Room in Dublin (Yoga Alliance registered).

Looking after all aspects of your health at this time of change is so important and my 'Positive Birth' yoga classes offer many physical and emotional benefits.

Combining yoga poses & strenghening exercises with relaxation, mindfulness & breathing techniques, these classes will help develop the skills necessary for you to cope with the demands of labour and motherhood and prepare you for your 'positive birth'!

Benefits of Baby Massage

Baby massage is a wonderful experience shared between you and your baby. It is an ancient and loving art that can:

  • Aid sleep and relaxation
  • Develop the bonding process
  • Help with digestion
  • Aid wind and colic
  • Help reduce postnatal depression
  • Stimulate your baby's nervous system
  • Provide massage techniques to use at home
  • Allow you to meet other parents and their babies

Baby massage is also effective and beneficial for premature babies, and those with special needs. Please contact me if you have any queries about your baby’s specific requirements.


Mum & Baby Postnatal Yoga

Mum & Baby Postnatal Yoga is a class where you can bond with your baby while exercising safely, strengthening your mind & body after birth.

I have collaborated with numerous womens health physiotherapists, osteopaths & personal trainers to bring new mums a class that focuses on poses to open and stretch the body, exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor & abdominals and also breathing & relaxation techniques to help you feel calm and restored.

Babies will love watching mum exercise along with enjoying the infant engagement parts of the class where we sing nursery rhymes, do some massage and try out some baby yoga of course!

Private 'Group sessions' option: (Baby Massage / Mum & Baby Yoga) Get a group of friends / family togther and have some fun in a  location of your choice.

MumFit @ Performance Therapy Ireland

After your baby arrives you may, in time, consider a class to rebuild your strength, mobility and fitness levels. 

I have teamed up with the fantastic coaches in Performace Therapy Ireland to deliver this hugly beneficical course.

Mums bodies need some TLC after pregnancy and birth and these sessions will focus on strengthening and rebuilding you in a safe and effective way. Best of all, your baby is welcome to come along! 

This course is suitable once you have been cleared for exercise postnatally and we cater for all levels of fitness. Courses run for 4 weeks, with 2 classes per week.

Birth & Postnatal Doula

Providing gentle and caring emotional & physical support, information & companionship to birthing mothers and their families during the pregnancy, labour, birthing and the post partum period.

Research shows that having a Doula present can:

  • Reduce incidents of c-sections
  • May shorten the length of labour
  • Reduces the need for epidural/ analgesics
  • Increases breastfeeding initiation & continuation
  • Increases mother’s satisfaction of her birth experience
  • Can reduce the incidence of postpartum mood disorders
  • Increases new parents’ confidence in the care of their newborn
  • Help mum and dad adjust to their new role as parents.
