Preparing for a baby, whether it’s your first or your forth, is one of the most exciting times of a parents life.
During the Antenatal Workshop Jen will cover all you need to know in order for you to prepare for a positive birth including:

• Informed Decision making

• Birth Preferences

• Navigating your way through the Irish Maternity System

• What happens when you go to Hospital

• Anatomy & Physiology of Birth

• Comfort Measures/Pain Management

• The Birth Partners Role

• Having a positive birth if things change
  

In the Postnatal Workshop Jen will help you and your partner prepare for life with a new baby before they arrive. There’s actually quite a lot to learn about babies and parenting. Taking a workshop at this stage, means you and your partner can put tips and tricks in place to make the transition for you both that bit easier.

Some of what will be covered in this workshop includes:

• Information on self care & both emotional and physical recovery after birth 

• Early days & weeks with a new baby 

• Information on normal newborn behaviour

• Information on the Fourth Trimester

• Information on infant sleeping

• Information on postpartum mental health

• Self care tips for you & your partner

Workshops can be purchased individually (€50) or as a bundle (€90)
*95% of participants who book the Antenatal workshop Only will end up booking the Postnatal workshop too. If you wish to make a saving, please choose the bundle at the time of booking.

Workshops are suitable for first time parents or those looking for a comprehensive refresher.
