In this session Ciara will cover how to introduce better sleep into your routine through gentle sleep shaping and help prevent the issues she most commonly sees after the 6 / 7 month mark.
Ciara Taylor is Mum to four girls (12,10,8 and 6) and has practised as a Nurse and Midwife for 13 years.
Ciara is also a Sleep Consultant and runs Taylor Made Babies, supporting families when they need some guidance with their little ones sleep.
Ciara knows there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to baby sleep however this session is about building good foundations around your baby’s sleep habits so you can start as you mean to go on.
Ciara will be covering:
Sleep safety
3 - 6 month feed / sleep schedule
When to introduce solids / dropping feeds / timing
Recommended naps and how to extend naps
Developmental changes & the ‘4 month sleep regression’
Ideal ‘wake windows’ from 3-7 months
How to balance the day with naps for this age group
Early rising and how to manage this
When to transition down to 2 naps
Ideal sleep environment & the bedtime routine
Q & A Time
The content of the workshop is suitable for Parents with babies aged approx. 3-6 months old or those approaching this age mark.
